So wondering how much you would get after clearing the backs? Just put the values in the link. Here is a list of what you have to put in the Grade column-

A+   =  10                  C=7

A     =  9                    D=6

B      =  8                   E=5

F      = 0

CALCULATE YOUR GPA BY USING THE SHEET BELOW
Suppose if you pass with grade ‘c’ in chemistry, put ‘7’ into the grade column and ‘4’ In the credits column.

Still coping with the shock that results gave you? Well, you need to hurry up because the make up procedure is not something that waits long. Here are your options.

In case of an ‘F’– You have failed the subject. You can give the make-up exam now in December (If given in summer, it shows on your report). Here is the form-http://www.manipal.edu/Institutions/Engineering/MIT/Documents/Results/endsemnov10/10PointExam_Applications.pdf

Fill in the details, attach a Rs 300 DD in favour of The Director Manipal Institute of Technology and post it to the academic section of MIT ASAP. The last date for the submission is 24th December. If you pass the make-up, no mention of a back is done anywhere.

Re-valuation- You (or your friend) need to be physically present to negotiate for marks, otherwise just a check for totalling mistakes is done. The fee is Rs500, and last day is tomorrow ie. 21st, so you need a friend to submit it now. The paper showing is on 23rd. The form–

*Sorry I was told the paper would be shown on 24th. Turns out the paper showing was on 23rd and results on 24th. Although they didn’t allow someone else to see them so guess its the same thing now.

All The Best Smile

Posted: May 30, 2011 by Gaurav Prakash in 1st Year, 2nd Year, 3rd Year, 4th Year, College News

Hostels allotment for current students of the university are out!

Click here to access them

The hostels allotments are not final.

Once you pay the fee and the hostel fee only then is it alloted to you, for now this what has been blocked for you.

A few people will also be leaving the hostel and shifting outside so if you are not really happy with what you have alloted to you…you might want to wait a bit and once it clears up you can get your choice!

Any other questions please feel free to ask questions…we’ll try to answer them!

Lot of guys are looking for room-mates to shift with them in the new blocks.

Some of em are moving from single to double or some of em just cant take their room mates no more!

At Manipal The Talk.Net we’re trying to ease out that situation!

If you are looking for a room-mate to shift with you , this is the perfect place!

Fill in the from with the required details and we will pair you up with any other person with similar preference.

We do not guarantee that you WILL find a room-mate but we’ll try our very best!

Click here to fill the form

We’ve tried to clear all the doubts that you might have with hostels around here

We filled the form before in the so called test run. What about that?

Those forms have been cleared and the database has been reset. All new entries are now ready to go.

As of 10th May 5:30PM the database was cleared. All you have to do is click on ‘Cancel my Application’ and your application resets.

How are the hostels being alloted?

Hostels are being alloted on the basis of the GPA of your previous semester and not on a early bird basis.
